Hey there! My name is Juan Xavier Larrea and you have stumbled upon my personal blog.
I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1982. Ever since i can remember, i eat and breath Information Technologies. It all started as a hobbie in 1997 and up to this day is what my (professional) life is about.
I have worked for different companies and I have developed small to very large scale websites, enterprise & mobile applications, web services, and console gaming related stuff. Currently, i work for TBS Shipping Services and was recently transferred to New York to join the IT department staff.
My Hobbies
I love traveling, learning about different cultures and new languages. I also enjoy listening electronic music, chillout and bossa nova. Also, photography has recently become a passion for me. And of course, I am a hardcore gamer in love with my Xbox 360.
On a slightly more serious activity, i am very interested in technical analysis for day trading and shorting common stocks. My risk management is very solid so I will be always around. If you want to learn the basics about trading in the stock market I recommend the book Security Analysis by Benjamin Graham.
